Derrick Rose Single-Handedly Dismantles the Hawks

If anybody questioned Derrick Rose winning the MVP award - perhaps thinking it was too early in a career for one to get such recognition - well, think again.  The kid is for real.
Not even a forearm domeshot could stop this guy

He proved the NBA MVP trophy of 2011 resides in the hands of its rightful winner after dropping 44 points (16-27 from the field, 8-9 from the line) with 7 assists and 5 boards against the Hawks in game 3 of their second round series.  While producing that ridiculous stat-line, Rose dropped some of the prettiest tear-drops we've seen in years, and as usual, played the game 10 times faster than anybody else on the court.

The best part?  He's a great kid with a sincere work ethic and for years to come will provide us with memorable performances like last night's destruction of the Atlanta Hawks.
