Week 5 NFL Rankings-Tickets

Five of the top 11 NFL teams from week four lost this week.  It was a total slaughter.  Because of this, teams like the New Orleans Saints and the Kansas City Chiefs shot up the rankings.  This has increased the demand for New Orleans Saints tickets and Kansas City Chiefs tickets.

Here are the top five NFL teams going into week five.  It's no coincidence that NFL Ticket prices are going up for these teams after last week.

#5 San Francisco 49ers - The 49ers are 2-2 with a 35-11 win over the Saint Louis Rams.  Apparently they are removing the excitement of their offense and just giving the ball to Frank Gore now.

#4 New Orleans Saints - The Saints beat the Miami Dolphins 38-17 in week four to bring them to 4-0.  Drew Brees was hitting on all cylinders while the inexplicably good Saints defense shut down the Dolphins.

#3 New England Patriots - Another 4-0 team, the Patriots beat the Atlanta Falcons 30-23.  This wasn't a total blow out like a few other teams last week, but a solid win none the less.  Tom Brady, a total mess, but still they are 4-0.

#2 Seattle Seahawks - 4-0, and nobody expected less at the beginning of the year.  This team was poised to go far this year.  However their offensive line injuries might be hard to overcome down the road.  The first three quarters last week against the Houston Texans didn't look so good.

#1 Denver Broncos - 4-0, awesome defense, offense running like a well oiled machine, with Peyton Manning driving.  Hard to beat.  Not to mention that Manning is setting new NFL TD passing records each month.  The team has set a hand full of franchise records as well.  Oh, and they are BLOWING OUT the other teams.  Last week, 52-20 against the Philadelphia Eagles.  Ouch.

Tickets - Holy Crap: The Cleveland Browns traded Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts have claimed Trent Richardson from the Cleveland Browns for a first round draft pick. It's all a bit shocking as Richardson was billed as the cornerstone of the Browns rebuilding the team. Change of plans?

From the man himself...

Well Browns, throwing in the towel so soon?  You understand that you have potentially given up on both of your first round picks from 2011 in exchange for a first round pick in 14' and some undrafted guy from Michigan State?  I hope Trent finds a home there and rips it up.

Check out Trent Richardson and get your Indianapolis Colts Tickets today.

NFL Leaders - Week Two

Seahawks Smash 49ers 29-3 & Broncos Beat Giants 41-23

The San Francisco 49ers lost to the Seattle Seahawks 29-3 as Marshawn Lynch scored three touchdowns against the division rivals.  People are saying that these two teams are leading Super Bowl contenders, although there are some other notable teams doing well in week two also.

The Seahawks' defense stooped the 49ers and kept them to 207 yards of offence and pushed quarterback Colin Kaepernick into four turnovers.  Only Kaepernick knows if the game delay due to lighting affected his focus.

Seahawks conerback Richard Sherman was quoted saying, "We showed we're on another level."  The Seahawks' win wasn't the only impressive performance of football Sunday.  The Manning Bowl showed that big brother Peyton is still beating up on little brother Eli.  The Denver Broncos remain undefeated with their 41-23 win over the Giants.  Aaron Rodgers passed for a career-high 480 yards with four touchdowns in leading the Green Bay Packers to a 38-20 win over the Washington Redskins.

The Houston Texans beat the Tennessee Titans 30-24 in an overtime short pass from Matt Schaub to DeAndre Hopkins on the final play of the game.  The New Orleans Saints squeaked by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16-14 on a 27 yard field goal attempt by Garret Hartley as the clock ticked down.  The Chicago Bears beat the Minnesota Vikings 31-30 as Jay Cutler passed to Martellus Bennett for the wining touchdown with only 10 seconds on the clock.

The Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos are looking strong as number one and two contenders for the Super Bowl win this year.  As the season goes on, and these teams show the world what they are made of, ticket prices are going up.  Make sure to get your Denver Broncos tickets or Seattle Seahawks tickets now while the prices are lower.  With every win their prices are going up.

Dane Cook announces new 'Under Oath', tickets on sale now.

Four years after taking the country by storm with his last major tour — 2009′s “ISolated INcident” — Dane Cook is preparing to hit the road again this fall. He’s calling his latest venture "Under Oath", a loaded name that wasn't chosen lightly. “As a comedian, I am obligated to tell you the truth, my truth,” he explained in a recent interview. “To share with you my beliefs, my perspective. And I think that we forget sometimes that that’s the oath that comics take, that we will go up and share everything — the irreverent, the scary.”

Cook’s words indicate that he won’t shy away from covering tough stuff in the new show, which he’s been honing for years at the Los Angeles’s Laugh Factory — subjects like his failed NBC series Next Caller (which was canceled before airing a single episode), joke-stealing allegations that led to a memorable guest appearance on Louie in 2011, and the army of haters determined to pounce on his every misstep.

Just don’t expect something dour, heavy, and confessional. With his new set, Cook is aiming to emulate the tone of 2003′s Harmful if Swallowed, his lighthearted breakthrough album — one that was made before his mother died of cancer in 2006, his father died of cancer in 2007, and his half-brother Darryl McCauley was jailed for embezzling millions from Cook in 2010. His understated assessment of that dark period: “Everything was kind of out of whack for a bit.”

But “the last couple of years onstage has been a lot lighter,” Cook continued. “The [new] set is a lot more random. It’s what I think I do best, which is observational comedy, relationships — I love gender stuff. I love getting into the wiring of men and women. So a lot of it really hearkens back to discovering myself in that first CD.” He’s also looking forward to taking his act to theaters with capacities somewhere between the intimate Laugh Factory and the cavernous Madison Square Garden, which Cook has sold out twice — as Cook says, because he got so massively popular so quickly, “I had kind of skipped over the part as you’re going up the food chain and playing larger and larger venues, and [I] never had a chance to play these incredible theaters.”

Tickets for Dane Cook and his Under Oath comedy tour can be found on www.PeakSeats.com, on the free Peak Seats iPhone App, the free Peak Seats Android App, the free Peak Seats Kindle Fire App or by calling 855.379.4515.

Sting Will Play 10 Shows Benifiting New York City's Public Theater

Sting has lined up 10 shows this fall to benefit New York City’s Public Theater. Taking place at the venue’s intimate 250-seater Anspacher Theater, the shows will be the first and only time Sting performs songs from his new album The Last Ship.

Scheduled to be released Sept. 24, The Last Ship shares its title with Sting’s upcoming play premiering next year. Both the album and play were inspired by the shipbuilding community of Wallsend, England, where he was born and raised.

“The Public Theater, a New York institution committed to supporting all of the city’s distinct communities, was a natural fit to perform this material that is, at its core, about the importance of community,” Sting said.

As you can probably imagine, the folks at the Public Theater are very excited about hosting Sting this fall.

“Sting is one of the great artists of our time, a brilliant songwriter who is also a model of activist commitment,” Public Theater’s artistic director Oskar Eustis said. “The Last Ship is shaping up to be a masterpiece, both an elegy for and a celebration of the working class life of the Newcastle shipyards. The Public is honored to call Sting a friend and thrilled to be hosting these benefit concerts.”

The shows are scheduled for Sept. 25-28, Oct. 1, 4-6 & 8-9. All proceeds will benefit the Public Theater and your Sting ticket purchases are tax deductible.

In addition to the 10 shows, Sting has also lined up a special gig for his official fan club to take place on his Oct. 2 birthday. For this show 100 Sting.com fan club members will receive free tickets via lottery.

Speaking of free tickets, a limited number of free seats will be distributed by way of a lottery each show day. Entries will be taken between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. each performance day with drawings beginning at 6 p.m. You must be present to win.

PeakSeats.com has Sting tickets available now on our website, on our iPhone Ticket App, our Android Ticket App, our Kindle Fire Ticket App or by phone at 855.379.4515.  Visit www.PeakSeats.com for more information.

Pearl Jam Sets Fall Tour of North America

"Pearl Jam will head out on a 24-date North American tour this fall that begins in October and runs through early December, the band announced today (July 8) as the culmination of the mysterious PearlJam.com countdown clock that's been running for the past week.

The group begins the two-part trek in Pittsburgh, Penn. on October 11 and will play arenas across the continent before wrapping up in their hometown of Seattle on December 6 (see below for a full list of the tour dates). Pearl Jam tickets for all of the concerts will go on sale on soon on www.PeakSeats.com, the Peak Seats iPhone Ticket App, the Peak Seats Droid Ticket App and the Peak Seats Kindle Fire Ticket App.

The fall tour announcement comes as fans await news about Pearl Jam's next album, which guitarist Stone Gossard told Billboard in May was "almost done," adding that the band were "crossing our T's and dotting our I's." The upcoming 10th studio album, for which neither a title nor a release date has yet been announced, will be the follow up to 2009's "Backspacer," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. After the tour was revealed today, the PearlJam.com coundown clock reset, showing a new countdown which is set to end on Thursdays, July 11 at noon P.T.

Pearl Jam also today posted a brief concert montage video clip to its YouTube channel to accompany the tour announcement which features instrumental snippets of unidentified music.

Meanwhile, Pearl Jam is set to perform at the Chicago Cubs' Wrigley Field on July 19, after an arena gig on July 16 at London, Ontario's Budweiser Gardens. The Wrigley date will feature Pearl Jam without any opening act. With all tickets gone in minutes, the show was reportedly the fastest concert sell-out in the famed baseball park's history. As previously reported, the band is also set to headline one day of November's Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans.

In addition to their work with PJ, the band's individual members have also been busy so far this year on other projects. Gossard released his second solo album, "Moonlander," on June 25. Drummer Matt Cameron, who toured with his other band Soundgarden this winter, has an album called "Drumgasm" alongside Wild Flag's Janet Weiss and Death Grips' Zach Hill coming Aug. 27.
